These terms apply to tours booked directly with Nordic Lights Adventures ("Nordic Lights Adventures", "we"), business ID available on request, Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland.
1. Booking and payment
Bookings are made online through our booking system (Bokun) or by confirming an offer we send you by email. A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable.
2. Cancellation by you

Christmas week bookings: 50% non-refundable deposit, balance due 30 days before the trip, no refund within 30 days.
3. Cancellation or changes by us
We may cancel or change a tour for weather, road conditions or safety. If we cancel, you choose between a full refund and a free new date. We tell you by midday on the day of the tour whenever possible.
4. Northern Lights
The aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Our "Ride again free" promise applies when no aurora at all is seen during the tour; it gives a free place on another night while you are in Rovaniemi, subject to space, and is not a cash refund.
5. Your responsibilities
Dress for the cold, be ready at the agreed pickup time and follow the guide's safety instructions. Tell us about health or mobility needs when you book.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under Finnish and EU consumer law, leisure services booked for a specific date are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal. Our own cancellation policy above applies instead.

Please contact us first at contact@nordiclightsadventures.com. If we cannot agree, you can contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, www.kuluttajariita.fi).
