The aurora promise

Didn't see the lights? Ride again free.

If we see no aurora at all — not even a faint arc — you come out again free, any night you're still in Rovaniemi. No cash refund, no asterisk. Just another night out, on the house.

How it works

  1. 01

We go out and look properly

We read the forecast at midday and drive to the clearest sky we can reach, sometimes up to 150 km away.

  2. 02

No aurora at all? Tell us

If we see no aurora at all — not even a faint arc — tell your guide that night, or message us by noon the next day.

  3. 03

    Pick another night

Join any aurora hunt while you're still in Rovaniemi, free, as long as there's a seat in the van. Guests riding again get first pick of seats.

The small print, in plain words

  • It's a free second night out, not a cash refund.
  • "No aurora" means nothing seen at all. A faint display still counts as seen.
  • On the Aurora Express, the promise only helps if you have another night in Rovaniemi.
  • If we cancel a night ourselves (weather, roads, safety), you get a full refund or a free new date instead.
